Cold Sores – How to Deal With It

Most cold sore creams are merely soothing which make waiting out the cold sores a little bit more pleasant. However, sometimes those who infected with cold sores might experience irritation in his eyes and it is highly advised to immediately seek medical treatment as herpes simplex can cause scaring in the cornea which might promote in the blindness.
Another important thing that you need to carefully watch if you get the outbreak is to avoid as much as possible a contact with people who have compromised immune systems such as those with AIDS or any kind of cancer. Also, avoid contact with babies as they may catch a more serious infection if they are exposed to the outbreak.
